Job Description

Job Duties:

• Develop and execute the company's strategic vision, including setting business goals, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring profitability.
• Recruit, lead, and inspire a creative team of graphic designers, illustrators, and other staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their design needs, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to ensure the company remains profitable. Monitor financial performance and make strategic adjustments as needed.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality design and printing services, consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients, negotiate deals, and expand the company's reach. Identify new market trends and opportunities.
• Stay current with design software and printing technology, and implement innovative tools and processes to increase efficiency and competitiveness.
• Address challenges that may arise in project execution, client relationships, or within the team, utilizing creative problem-solving skills.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the company's operations, including financial, legal, and operational risks.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the company's success and report to higher management or stakeholders.

Qualification criteria:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing, business, or management, is required. 
• Previous experience of a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role is crucial. 
• Strong leadership and people management skills are essential
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and the ability to optimize resources to ensure profitability.
• The budgetary responsibility falls within $500,001 - $1,500,000. 
• Proven ability to address complex challenges and make strategic decisions to drive the company's success.
• Excellent communication and networking skills for building and maintaining client relationships, industry partnerships, and a strong professional network.
• An achievement-oriented mindset focused on delivering high-quality graphic services, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Location: Hamilton, ON L8N 2B2

Salary: $67.15 hourly for 30 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
