Accounting Technician

At BMW Toronto, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude who loves to

challenge themselves. This is an intermediate level role to join our accounting team as an Accountant technician.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare daily bank deposits and credit card payment reconciliations.

• Accounts receivable reconciliations of customer and departmental cash clearing accounts

• Accounts payables including coding invoices, posting, and issuing payments in a timely manner.

• Review vehicle purchases and Inventory schedule maintenance

• Administrative filing

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing

Qualifications: 

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Post secondary education with accounting background

• Previous dealership work experience preferred but not required

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner

Salary: We offer a range between $25.00 and 27.00per hour based on qualifications

Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employers’ discretion

Job Type: Full-time permanent, minimum of 32 hours per week.

Language: At least intermediate level of English proficiency is required.
