Child Caregiver needed in Surrey on, BC.

We are a small lovely family and are looking for a reliable, friendly, organized and dedicated caregiver to take care of our children aged between 6 to 10 years at our home located in Surrey BC in our absence, especially when we both are at work.

Job title: Child Caregiver

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40hr/week)

Vacancy: 1

Wage: C$18.00/hr.

Language Requirement: English.

Qualification: Senior Secondary (High) School Certificate.

Experience: 1 month to 7 months.

Start Date: As soon as possible

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and care for children in employer’s home.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Prepare nutritious food and serve the kids.
• Help them to decide and change clothes when needed.
• Maintain a safe, healthy positive environment at home.
• Help them to get organized by making them understand their responsibilities.
• Keep record of the daily activities and health information regarding children.  
• Help them maintain their reading habits and help them with the selection of age-appropriate books to read.
• Make them revise their school work and help them when and where help is needed.
• Make a schedule of play and study time. Also, instruct them in personal hygiene.
• May help in light household work, in the absence of parents.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.
• Accompany them to the parks and Community Centre and organize games and outings for children.
• May need to accompany with the children for their activities and doctor’s appointments. .
• Plan age appropriate activities for the children  

Personal Suitability: Initiative, organized, judgmental, Flexible (by nature and time) and reliable.
