Job Description
Wage: $24.50 per hour (full-time position; 35 hours/week)
Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Job Description:
- Stain or finish cabinets to a certain colour with stains, paints or other materials using a brush or spray gun
- Apply toners, highlights, glazes or shaders to achieve the desired finish
- Apply lacquer or other sealers
- Smooth and shine the surfaces of cabinets
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products
Work Conditions:
Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, walking
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty
Work Setting:
Millwork/prefab shopwork
Job Requirements:
Ability to learn and develop practical skills
Capable of observing all health and safety codes
