Job Description

Location: Mississauga, ON L5T 2M9

Salary: $ 28.50 hourly / 35 hours per week

Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Manage and distribute incoming correspondence, including emails and mail.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including room setup and catering.
  • Maintain and update databases, records, and filing systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and organization of information.
  • Facilitate communication within the office.
  • Draft and proofread documents, emails, and reports.
  • Make travel arrangements for employees, including booking flights and accommodations.
  • Assist in managing budgets, processing invoices, and tracking expenses.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience of 2 years to less than 3 years in administrative roles is essential for this job.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and equipment.
  • Capability to resolve issues and handle challenges effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
  • Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and maintain accuracy.
