Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team effectiveness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for the restaurant chain, providing insights into the company’s financial performance.
• Develop development, monitor, budgets, forecast, and financial plans to support the overall financial strategy of the restaurant chain 
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. 
• Manage cash flow, including monitoring, working, capital, liquidity, and financial investments. 
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. 
• Responsible for the financial health and welfare of the restaurant, guarding against overspending and protecting economic resources. 
• Responsible for making sure the bills are paid on time, producing restaurant, budgets, and forecasts, and creating annual reports for management or other stakeholders. 
• Monitor, cost controls, including an ongoing review of everything from inventory and food costs to the cost of printing menus.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A CEGEP/ college diploma is necessary.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, often in a leadership role, is typically required. 
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams effectively are essential. This includes the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide employees.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for effective interaction with employees, clients, and others.
• One is required to have a good understanding of financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise in the operations of the business.
• The ability to make informed and timely decisions is crucial. 

Location: Brantford, ON N3T 0N5

Salary: $50.10 per hour for 35 hours per week

Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
