Job Posting : Pharmacy Technical Assistant

Wages : 23.75 hourly / 35.00 to 40.00 hours per Week

Permanent employment - Full time

Starts as soon as possible

Languages :  English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certifi cate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
                  Pharmacy technician/assistant

Experience : 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Setting : Pharmacy or drugstore

Responsibilities :

  Tasks:
   - Assist health care professionals
   - Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
   - Maintain prescription records and inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
   - Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
   - Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases andprepare medications for clients
   - Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
   - Maintain supplies
   - Perform general clerical duties
   - Manage routine offi ce functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments

Credentials - Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:  Pharmacy Technician Certification

Experience and specialization: 

Computer and technology knowledge
 - MS Office
