We will provide:

-          Pay rate: $18 - $19 per hour

-          Minimum 35 hours / week throughout your employment period

-          Paid vacation of 10 days per year

Duties

-          Prepare breads, cakes and other pastries for Restaurant in accordance with Belle Vie Authentic Recipes and quality standard using the highest quality ingredients.

-          Manage the Bakery team of 5-7 employees; hires, schedules, trains, provides feedback and motivation on products, ingredients and processes

-          Orders and monitors inventories of all ingredients and products for baking, including tracking and documenting daily transfers and waste in the appropriate system.

-          Mixing, matching, and blending colors to create custom cake decorations such as flowers, figurines, and beads; Applying frosting, sprinkles, and other toppings to finished cakes

-          Collaborates closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure all necessary parties are aware of daily bakery activities, including absences, schedule coverage and product availability

-          Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times.

Requirements

-          Minimum High school Education

-          Minimum one month of experience in a similar field

-          Ability to legally work in Canada
