Gupta Auto Repair is urgently seeking for 2 Full Time Diesel mechanics

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of semi-trucks and trailer
• Diagnose faults and malfunctions and advise customer whether to repair or replace unit using testing equipment’s and software
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components, if instructed
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
• Repair heavy diesel engine trucks

Skills Requirement

• Completion of secondary school is required
• At least 1 year of experience with diesel engines, steering and suspension, brake systems, fuel and emission systems, ignition and electrical systems, driveline malfunctions, cooling and heating systems and truck-trailer repair required
• Bachelor’s Degree, Trade Certification or any Vocational Program related to Automotive or Mechanical Industry is an asset
