Welder – Full Time (Permanent)

Location: 7370 Bramalea Road, Unit - 14 Mississauga, ON L5S 1N6 (On-site)

VMB Logistic is seeking two (2) Welders for full-time, permanent positions at our Mississauga facility.

Wage: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour (negotiable)
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Fabricate metal components for transport vehicles and equipment according to specifications.
• Perform welding repairs on damaged vehicle parts to ensure safety and functionality.
• Inspect welds and materials for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
• Collaborate with engineers and mechanics to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
• Cut and shape metal pieces using various tools and techniques to fit project needs.
• Document and report welding activities and materials used for inventory and tracking purposes.
• Train and mentor junior welders on best practices and safety measures in welding.
• Participate in regular maintenance of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Employment Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Experience is an asset

• Ability to work on-site

• Criminal record check required

Work Conditions

• Morning, day, evening, early morning, weekend, and on-call shifts as required
