Education: completion of secondary school

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience

Job Duties:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle braking, steering, suspension, and alignment systems.

• Perform wheel alignments and brake services according to manufacturer specifications.

• Adjust, repair, or replace worn or defective mechanical components.

• Conduct road tests and post-repair inspections to ensure safety and quality.

• Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to complete repairs.

• Maintain accurate service records and follow workplace safety procedures.

• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.

• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
