Job Description

On site Halifax, NS, Starts as soon as possible

17.50 to 20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week

Permanent Full time / Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Shift, Overtime available

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: at lease 1 year

Work site environment: Non-smoking

Cleaning service company work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, Office building, Commercial building, Private residence, Warehouse, Restaurant, Retail service establishment, Retirement home,

Responsibilities / Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; Dust furniture; Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; Clean and disinfect elevators; Pick up debris and empty trash containers; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Wash windows, walls and ceilings; Clean toilet, changing rooms and showers,

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently; Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; Physical demanding; Attention to detail; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Handling cleaning chemical materials.

Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
