Location:  6101 Mayfield Rd Suite 5, Brampton ON, L6P OJ1
Salary: $36.30 hourly/ 30 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment

Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and food items according to established recipes and standards
• Determine portion sizes and estimate food and ingredient requirements
• Plan menus and assist in developing new menu items
• Requisition and manage food, kitchen supplies, and equipment
• Ensure meals are prepared to meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Accommodate special dietary requirements, including food allergies and intolerances
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Inspect kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure health and safety compliance
• Train and assist kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling
• Supervise kitchen helpers and support staff as required
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize food waste
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations

Eligibility Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with a high standard of customer service.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Capable of standing for extended periods while performing duties under pressure
• Client-focused individual with flexibility and sound judgement
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Reliable team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
