Punjab Tax Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Supervisor to join our growing team in Mississauga. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a professional with strong supervisory experience in bookkeeping and financial operations who can lead staff, ensure accuracy, and support smooth office operations.

Job Details

  • Position: Bookkeeping Supervisor

  • Location: 9-1332 Khalsa Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5S 0A2

  • Workplace Type: On-site only

  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

  • Wage: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour (negotiable)

  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Schedule

Shifts may include:

  • Morning, Day, Evening, Night

  • Early morning

  • Weekends

  • On-call

  • Shift-based work

Requirements

  • Language: English

  • Education: College / CEGEP diploma

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in bookkeeping or a related supervisory role

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bookkeeping activities to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Review and approve general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with CRA payroll deductions and remittances.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Ensure tax returns are prepared, reviewed, and filed accurately and on time.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate bookkeeping staff to maintain performance and accuracy standards.
  • Implement and enforce internal controls to reduce errors and ensure financial integrity.
  • Coordinate with tax preparers and accountants during audits and year-end reporting.
  • Maintain organized financial records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Provide regular financial summaries and reports to management for decision-making.
