Job Title: Accountant

Employment Details

• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

• Hourly Wage: $26.50 per hour

• Overtime: As per Manitoba Employment Standards

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and manage accounting systems while compiling financial data

• Review accounting documentation and generate financial statements along with reports

• Create and uphold processes for cost analysis, reporting, and internal controls

• Inspect financial ledgers and documents to prepare income tax filings based on accounting data

• Evaluate financial statements and reports to offer guidance business operations, and taxation

Education Requirements

• Completion of a college diploma or bachelor’s degree 

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting-related role

Work Conditions

• The position requires working on weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled

• The work environment is primarily indoors, in a retail store setting
