Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

Employment Details

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

• Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Schedule

• You shall work Monday to Friday for a total of 30 hours during each week of the month, excluding the statuary holidays.

• You shall be entitled to 30 minutes lunch break per working day.

• You shall be entitled to one break of 15 minutes every working day.

• You shall be entitled to two weeks of paid vacations or 4% of the gross wage earned every calendar year.

Wages and Overtime

• Hourly Wage: $24.00 per hour, excluding refreshment breaks

• Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly, on every second Friday

• Overtime Wage: $36.00 per hour, starting after 44 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage financial documentation by setting up, upholding, and reconciling different accounts.

• Record transactions in journals, align account balances, create trial balances, oversee general ledgers, and generate financial reports.

• Compute and issue payments for employee salaries, as well as bills related to services, taxes, and miscellaneous expenses.

• Fill out and file forms for tax payments, workers' compensation, and similar official submissions.

Education Requirements 

• Completion of a college diploma or certificate 

Experience Requirements 

• At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or an accounting-related role
