Job Title - apprentice butcher

• Location: Lower Woods Harbour, NSB0W 2E0
• Work location: On site
• Salary: 19.72 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent-Full time
• Starts as soon as possible
• Vacancies: 2 vacancies

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months

On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Job Duties:

• Assist in cutting, trimming, deboning and preparing various meats and poultry
• Prepare standard and custom cuts of meat to customer specifications
• Clean meats and sanitize equipment tools, and the work area to meet heath and safety standards.
• Receive, store and rotate meat products to ensure freshness and minimize waste and ensure the food temperature conditions met.
• Package, weigh and wrap fresh and prepared meats for sale.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and recommending products
• Adhere to company policies, safety protocols and food safety standards.
