Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and other buildings.
• May prepare cost estimates for clients.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Skills Requirement:

• Completion of secondary school is required
• At least 1 year of construction industry experience required or completion of a relevant apprenticeship program
• Bachelor’s Degree is an asset

Job Location: Across Lower Mainland, British Columbia, Canada
