Job Description

One (1) permanent full-time position of Truck Driver-Supervisor (NOC 72024) is available at Autolinx Express Inc. located at 375 Market Drive, Milton, ON, L9T 3H5.

Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 72024:

• Supervise truck drivers and oversee their day-to-day driving activities on both short-haul and long-haul trips.
• Assign daily driving work to drivers, communicate trip instructions, and confirm expectations before dispatch.
• Monitor drivers while on the road to ensure schedules, delivery instructions, and safety requirements are being followed.
• Review driver logbooks, trip sheets, delivery paperwork, and vehicle inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure drivers follow company policies, customer delivery procedures, and safe driving practices at all times.
• Enforce compliance with transportation laws and safety standards, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and load securement.
• Arrange training and coaching new truck drivers on company procedures, route expectations, safety requirements, and proper documentation.
• Address on-route issues such as delays, breakdowns, delivery problems, or driver concerns and take immediate action to keep operations moving.
• Support the onboarding process for new drivers by assisting with orientation, job instruction, and initial performance evaluation.

• Prepare work performance and expenses reports and recommend measures to decrease company overhead.

Requirements:
Minimum One (1) year of work experience
Completion of Secondary School required

Wage rate: $37.50/hour
Hours: 35 hrs/week
