 Job Duties:

• Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate before processing.
• Enter and maintain client information in the pharmacy database and prescription records.
• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Prepare medications for clients under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products according to established procedures.
• Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products and organize stock.
• Organize and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and related materials.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and related documentation.
• Interpret physicians' prescription specifications and verify information with the pharmacist when required.
• Process insurance claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation claims.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain pharmacy equipment and ensure the work area remains hygienic.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
