Job Description

Employer: Professional Roadmaster Driving School Ltd

Vacancy: Office Manager

Work Location: #101-8642, 128street,Surrey, BC, V3W 4G5

Salary: $36.60 hourly

Terms of employment: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Language: English

Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in office setup

Education: Completion of Secondary

Start date: As soon as possible

 

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate all daily office administrative operations of the driving school to ensure efficient and compliant business functioning.
  • Establish, review, and implement administrative policies and procedures related to student registrations, scheduling, record-keeping, and internal office workflows.
  • Manage student files, instructor records, training schedules, and compliance documentation in accordance with provincial regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate office services such as equipment maintenance, office supplies, forms, IT support, and facility upkeep.
  • Supervise, train, and assign duties to administrative support staff, ensuring productivity standards and deadlines are met.
  • Plan and organize office work priorities to support instructors, students, and management.
  • Prepare and maintain business correspondence, reports, manuals, and internal documentation.
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, assist with invoicing, payments, and basic bookkeeping coordination.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring portions of the operating budget and maintain inventory controls for office supplies and training materials.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal staff and external stakeholders, including students, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, road tests, and training sessions in coordination with instructors and management.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of student and business records.
  • Identify administrative issues and recommend improvements to increase office efficiency and service quality.
