Location: 85 Montpelier St suite G102, Brampton, ON, L6Y 6A6

Salary: $36.25 hourly / 30 hours per Week

Overtime: 1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Duties & Responsibilities : 

  • Review and analyze the restaurant’s budget to identify opportunities for increasing and sustaining profits.
  • Prepare a detailed budget to calculate costs for food, beverages, and all kitchen and cleaning supplies.
  • Assess and monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Adjust recipes, cooking methods, and menu pricing to align with the budget and profitability goals.
  • Track revenue and labour expenses to optimize staffing costs.
  • Evaluate staff performance to maintain high service standards.
  • Organize and coordinate daily restaurant activities and workflows.
  • Hire new employees to meet operational requirements.
  • Create and manage employee work schedules.
  • Oversee staff to ensure proper execution of duties.
  • Train employees on procedures, service standards, and safety practices.
  • Decide the types of services offered and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for employees.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate with clients for catering services or facility usage agreements.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or service issues effectively.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1-2 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent English oral and written communication and customer service abilities
  • In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
