Job Description

• Planting blueberry bushes, ensuring proper spacing and care.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to provide adequate water to blueberry plants.
• Prune bushes to remove dead or diseased branches and promote growth.
• Identify and address pest infestations and diseases affecting blueberry crops. .
• Manage weed growth around blueberry bushes to prevent competition.
• Carefully harvest ripe blueberries with minimal damage.
• Sort harvested blueberries by quality and package them for distribution.
• Assist in loading crates of blueberries onto transportation vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance on harvesting equipment and machinery.
• Maintain records of harvest quantities, quality, and any issues.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary.
• Be prepared for seasonal variations in workload, especially during the harvesting season.
• Collaborate with farm colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors for efficient operations.
