Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction helper to support our construction projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks on-site, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of construction processes and be eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Handle hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation under supervision
• Support concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks such as concrete pouring and curing
• Aid in carpentry work including cabinet installation, framing, and general woodwork
• Participate in masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, and electrical work as needed
• Perform plumbing tasks and assist with construction painting and restoration projects
• Support caulking, drywall installation, and other finishing activities
• Help estimate project materials and prepare job sites for upcoming work
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

• Basic knowledge of construction techniques and tools is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, or construction estimating is a plus
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery is advantageous
• Prior experience in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, or restoration projects is beneficial
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to safety protocols and willingness to learn industry best practices
