Job Description

COMPANY NAME:  1445365 B.C. Ltd. dba Sunshine Lodge Inn

 

Permanent Position: Hotel Manager

 

Number of Positions: 1

Wage Rate: $39.90 hourly for 40 hours per week

Job Type:  Early morning, Evening, Shift, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Benefits: Health care plan

Work Location: 679 N Rd, Gibsons, British Columbia V0N 1V1

Job Duties:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the hotel.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient hotel services and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel staff.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and monitor employees to maintain high service standards and efficient operations.
  • Address guest complaints, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and assist in achieving operational and financial goals.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to increase occupancy and customer satisfaction.
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance, repairs, safety, and security operations of the hotel property.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and hospitality regulations.
  • Develop and implement business and operational plans to improve hotel performance and profitability.
  • Coordinate reservations, guest services, and special events to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Monitor inventory and arrange purchasing of hotel supplies, equipment, and materials as required.
  • Maintain records, prepare operational reports, and evaluate overall hotel performance.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure the hotel maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

 

 

Requirements:

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Education: College/CEGEP

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely

Fluent in English

Supervision: 5-10 people
