 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Maintain accurate financial records and complete bookkeeping for business and individual clients.
  • Record daily transactions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements and bookkeeping reports.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions.
  • Prepare and file GST/HST, payroll, and other government remittances.
  • Review accounting records for discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies.
  • Assist with audit preparation, tax documentation, and year-end reporting.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and manage vendor and client account balances.
  • Supervise junior bookkeeping staff and review bookkeeping accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients regarding accounting records and financial requirements.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and support accounting system improvements.
