Location : 5 Copper Rd, Brampton, ON L6T 4W5
Salary : 38.00 hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime :1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay : 4% on every pay period
Job Type : Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare operational reports on driver activities, deliveries, fleet performance, and transportation schedules.
• Recommend improvements to transportation procedures to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality.
• Resolve operational and driver-related issues while providing guidance to improve productivity and performance.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of truck drivers and transportation personnel.
• Train new drivers and arrange ongoing training on safety, compliance, and company procedures.
• Monitor fleet operations, driver logs, GPS systems, and dispatch communications.
• Coordinate driver schedules, route assignments, and daily transportation activities.
• Recommend hiring, performance management, and other personnel-related actions.
• Order and maintain transportation-related equipment, supplies, and safety materials.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A Secondary school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement for this job.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail in dispatching and record-keeping.
• Client-focused approach with the ability to maintain positive customer relationships.
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and operational demands.
