Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Home Support Worker - Caregiver
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salry: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Location: Bedford, NS, Canada
Hours: 35 - 40 hours Per week
Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: 

- Secondary (High) School graduation certificate 
- CPR & First AID Certificate 

Experience 

 1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities: 

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.

• Planning and preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements and Assisting clients during mealtimes
• Providing 1:1 supervision
• Reporting and documenting client concerns, incidents, and visit notes
• Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and tidying the client’s room or house, changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning floors, dusting etc.
• Providing transportation and accompanying clients to medical appointments or social events.
• Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory
• Documenting and recording daily care reports
