Our family is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to a female senior.

• Salary: $21.00 per hour
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free
• Employment Location: 203 Timberbank Blvd,Toronto, ON M1W 2A7

Job Duties:

1. Provide bedside and personal care for the senior, including activities such as dressing, mobility assistance, feeding, and medication reminders.
2. Offer companionship and emotional support to the senior.
3. Plan and prepare meals tailored to the senior's needs.
4. Handle household chores, including dishwashing, room cleaning, laundry, and other related tasks.
5. Ensure the senior's environment is safe, comfortable, and nurturing.
6. Maintain accurate care records and promptly report any changes in the senior's condition to the family.
7. Communicate effectively with the family about the senior's well-being.
8. Shop for food and household supplies when needed.
9. Provide first aid or CPR to the senior if necessary.

Requirements:

1. Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
2. Previous experience in care of the senior and/or previous full-time training in a related field is required.
3. First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate would be an asset.
4. Must be patient, reliable, client-focused, organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Must be able to speak and understand English.
6. Must work in senior's residential address.
