Location: 8695 Escarpment Way, Milton, ON L9T 0J5
Salary: $36.25 hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime: 1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Duties & Responsibilities -

  • Organize and prioritize daily office activities to ensure efficient support of transportation, dispatch, and administrative operations.
  • Train office staff on company procedures, documentation requirements, and workplace policies to maintain operational consistency.
  • Prepare and submit operational, administrative, and compliance reports required for effective business management.
  • Monitor and coordinate the smooth operation of office equipment and systems to support uninterrupted business activities.
  • Resolve administrative issues, provide guidance to staff, and recommend process improvements to enhance office efficiency and service quality.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review the work of administrative personnel to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Requisition and order office supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for daily business operations.
  • Arrange for the maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Eligibility Requirements -

  • A minimum of 7 months and up to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Windows, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with a high standard of customer service.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Client-focused individual with a strong commitment to teamwork.
