Electrician

Ricky’s Electric Ltd located at 32158 Austin Ave Abbotsford, British Columbia V2T 4P3 is looking to hire 2 Electricians

Salary: $38.25 hourly/ 30 to 40 hours per week

Position: Fulltime/Permanent

Education: High School

Language: English

Work Location: Various locations in Abbotsford and lower mainland British Columbia

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Install underground wiring and cables
• Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, Splice, join and connect wires
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults
• Connect power to audio and visual equipment
• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
• Estimate costs and materials

Skills and experience:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in specific trade

Work setting

• Construction, renovation, maintenance and repair
• Residential, commercial
