84 Investment Inc. is currently hiring 18 full-time Harvesting Labourers to support our cherry harvesting operations. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who are able to work in an outdoor orchard environment and contribute to all aspects of harvesting and related orchard activities.

Job Description

• Hand-pick ripe cherries carefully to meet established quality, size, colour, and maturity standards while preventing bruising or damage to the fruit.
• Sort, inspect, and grade harvested cherries according to quality specifications, removing damaged, overripe, or unmarketable fruit.
• Pack, weigh, and label harvested cherries into approved containers, ensuring accurate quantities and proper preparation for storage and transportation.
• Load, unload, and move harvested fruit, bins, crates, packaging materials, and farm supplies within the orchard and designated storage or packing areas.
• Clean and maintain picking buckets, ladders, harvest bins, racks, and work areas to ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and farm hygiene standards.
• Assist with routine orchard maintenance, including cleaning harvesting equipment, performing minor tool upkeep, and maintaining orderly field conditions as directed.
• Follow all farm operational procedures, quality assurance standards, and workplace health and safety policies at all times.
• Perform other orchard-related duties as assigned to support pre-harvest, harvest, and post-harvest operations.
