Job Description

Employment Type:   Full-time, permanent position

Work Schedule: 32.5 Hours/ week, Monday to Friday, weekends as per operational needs

Work Weeks: 52 weeks per year

Work Location: In person- 4543 Old Wanup Rd., Sudbury, ON, P3E 4N1

Vacation Pay & Leave: Vacation pay, calculated at 4% of gross wages, will be included on each pay cheque in accordance with employment standards, plus statutory holidays.

Job duties:
* Coordinate project schedules for excavation, site preparation, foundation, drainage, and road construction activities to ensure work progresses according to planned timelines and client commitments.
* Communicate regularly with site supervisors, equipment operators, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to organize work sequences and address day-to-day project requirements.
* Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor project milestones to identify delays, material shortages, or operational issues that may impact progress.
* Review project drawings, scope documents, and work requirements with field teams to ensure a clear understanding of project expectations before work commences.
* Arrange equipment availability and coordinate deliveries of construction materials, aggregates, drainage products, fuel requirements, and rental equipment for multiple project sites.
* Maintain project records, including work progress reports, site documentation, purchase information, inspection details, and project-related correspondence.
* Use Microsoft Office applications, email systems, scheduling tools, and internal tracking systems to organize project information and monitor ongoing activities.
* Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors regarding timelines, service requirements, and delivery commitments to minimize project delays.
* Assist with obtaining and organizing required documentation, permits, utility information, and supporting records needed for project execution.
* Represent the company in discussions with clients, subcontractors, and service providers regarding project requirements, scheduling, and operational matters.
* Participate in project cost tracking by reviewing labour hours, equipment usage, and material consumption against project budgets.
* Conduct regular communication with field personnel to resolve operational issues and support efficient coordination between office and site activities.
* Support management in maintaining workplace safety requirements by ensuring project teams have access to required documentation and site-related information.
