Food Service Supervisor

Tim Hortons is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team in Hanover, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 30 to 40 hours per week with a wage of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of food counter attendants, cashiers, and kitchen staff.
• Ensure food and beverage products are prepared and served according to company standards.
• Assign work duties and establish staff schedules to maintain efficient operations.
• Monitor customer service quality and address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Train new employees on food preparation procedures, sanitation practices, and workplace policies.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and daily reports.
• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and service quality.
• Assist management in controlling food costs, minimizing waste, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school.
• Minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the food service industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
