Education: Secondry (high) school graduation certificate or equvalent experience

Job Duties:

• Loading, unloading and moving construction supplies, masonry materials, tools and equipment to and from work areas.
• Assist masons and other construction workers with preparing and handling materials required for masonry and construction projects.
• Set up, assemble and remove scaffolding, temporary platforms, ramps, barricades and other structures used at construction sites.
• Assist with building and removing concrete forms, shoring and other temporary supports.
• Prepare, mix and handle concrete, mortar, asphalt and other construction materials as directed.
• Operate and tend basic construction machinery and equipment under the direction of experienced workers.
• Clean, organize and maintain construction sites, work areas, tools and equipment.
• Remove rubble, masonry waste, debris and other unwanted materials from construction sites.
• Assist with the safe containment and cleanup of spills and other contaminants at work sites in accordance with company safety procedures.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other general construction and site-support duties as assigned.
