Job Description

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full time, $36.75 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 335 5^th Ave Suite 205, Burns Lake, BC V0J 1E0

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience:1 year to less than 2 years

Languages: Written and Spoken English are required

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty, At heights, Confined spaces, Outdoors

Work setting: Construction, Various locations, Renovation, Commercial Residential

Duties:

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, industrial plants and other establishments

Supervision : 1-2 people
