Responsibilities

Tasks

• ?Calculate and prepare payroll for employees across the company's retail operations.
• Maintain financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems.
• ?Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• ?Calculate fixed assets and depreciation for business equipment and property.
• ?Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• ?Reconcile bank accounts, supplier invoices, and retail sales transactions.
• ?Prepare GST/PST and corporate tax information and assist with tax return preparation.
• ?Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• ?Support financial reporting for the company's grocery, liquor, fuel, and general retail operations.
• ?Assist management with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis to support business operations.
