Light Duty Cleaner Halifax, NS Job, Onsite work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Permanent employment, Full time 30 - 40 hours per week                                                                    Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Shift, Overtime available

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Job experiences: 1 year minimum

Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home; Apartment/condominium complex; Stores; Office building; Cleaning service company; Various locations; Willing to relocate; Commercial building; Private residence; Health care institution, facility or clinic; Warehouse; Restaurant; Retail service establishment; Retirement home

Responsibilities Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; Dust furniture; Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; Disinfect operating rooms and other areas; Clean and disinfect elevators; Handle and report lost and found items; Pick up debris and empty trash containers; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Cleaning windows, walls and ceilings; Clean changing rooms and showers.

Security and safety; Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check, Driver’s record check (abstract), Reference required

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Bending, crouching, kneeling. Standing for extended periods; Walking; Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
