Motorway Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. is looking for one Welder for a full-time permanent position.

Wages: $37.50/hour, 35 hours/week

Work Location: 2-7399 River Road, Delta, British Columbia V4G 1B2

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and specifications
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
• Operate previously set up welding machines such as gas and arc welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
• Determine weldability of materials
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
• Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal

Requirements:     

• Secondary education is required.
• 2-3 years experience is required
• Language: English
