Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to support the well-being and development of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children of various ages, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while fostering their growth and learning.

Duties

  • Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, including meal planning and cooking as needed
  • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, play, and creative projects
  • Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area, including cleaning toys and surfaces regularly
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently

Skills

  • Experience in caregiving or working with children preferred
  • Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform meal preparation tasks effectively
  • Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding for children of all abilities
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
  • Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Teaching abilities to support early childhood development through engaging activities
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a dynamic setting
