Position:   Store Manager Retail

No. of Vacancies: 01

Work start date: As soon as possible

Job location: 2002 Park Royal South West Vancouver, British Columbia V7T 2W4

Wage rate: $45 per hour, 32 to 40 hours per week.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Language: Excellent knowledge of English

Job Duties:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the retail alteration store to ensure efficient customer service and timely completion of garment alteration orders.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate customer service representatives, tailors, seamstresses, and support staff to maintain productivity and service quality.
  • Establish customer service standards and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and fitting concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate garment intake, fitting appointments, production workflow, quality inspections, and delivery schedules to ensure accurate and timely completion of alteration services.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare work schedules, control labour costs, and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory of sewing supplies, fabrics, threads, notions, packaging materials, and office supplies; order merchandise and materials as required.
  • Ensure cash handling, point-of-sale operations, daily reconciliations, and financial records are accurate and comply with company procedures.
  • Develop and implement store policies, operational procedures, and quality control standards to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and performance management of staff while promoting teamwork and high standards of customer service.
