ob Advertisement – In-Home Child Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced In-Home Child Caregiver to provide full-time care for our children in a private household. The successful candidate will assist with the daily supervision, care, and well-being of the children while supporting a mother with a disability who requires assistance in meeting the family's childcare needs.

Main Duties:

• Supervise and care for the children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Assist the children with dressing, personal hygiene, and daily routines.
• Organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the children, including laundry, tidying play areas, and cleaning children's rooms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment for the children.
• Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and any special care requirements.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure the children's health and safety at all times.
• Assists the person with disability

Requirements:

• Previous childcare or caregiving experience is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

This position is essential because the mother has a disability that limits her ability to independently perform all childcare responsibilities. The caregiver will help ensure the children receive consistent, attentive, and safe care while supporting the family's daily needs.
