Childcare Provider Needed – Special Needs Care | 40 Hours/Week

We are looking for a caring, patient, dependable, and responsible childcare provider care for children especailly  to care for our son, who has a disability.

Position details:

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8 hours per day
• Pay: $19/hour
• Location: Brossard
• Start date: ASAP
• Employment: Consistent, ongoing position

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing care for children and a child with disability
• attentive and hands-on supervision throughout the day
• Helping with daily routines and age-appropriate activities
• Preparing simple meals/snacks and assisting with eating as needed
• Helping with dressing, hygiene, toileting, and other personal-care routines as appropriate
• Supporting mobility and safety needs
• Keeping him engaged with play, learning, and recreational activities
• Following his established routines and any instructions provided by the family
• Providing a calm, patient, and supportive environment
• Communicating with parents about his day, needs, activities, and any concerns
• Maintaining a safe and clean childcare environment
• Light housekeeping, prepare meals, laundry and ironing.

Ideal candidate:
We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable caring  for children and for a child with a disability. Previous experience with children with disabilities, special-needs childcare, developmental support, or personal-care assistance is an asset.

The right person should be reliable, patient, compassionate, attentive, and comfortable following specific care instructions.
