Work Location: 6391 WESTMINSTER HWY Suite 150 RICHMOND, British Columbia V7C 4V4

Wage rate: $38.50 per hour for 32 to 40 hours per week.

Education: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate

Experience: Minimum 1 years to less than 2 years

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic and automated welding equipment to fabricate and repair metal components.
• Fabricate, weld and assemble structural steel components such as beams, columns, frames, stairs and railings.
• Measure, cut, fit and align metal components according to specifications.
• Operate flame-cutting and metal-forming equipment, including brakes and shears.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Perform shop and on-site welding and assist with installation of structural steel components.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow applicable workplace safety procedures.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
