About Us

Holyheart Construction Inc. is a construction company serving residential and commercial projects across Prince Edward Island. We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Drywall Installer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

As a Drywall Installer, you will:

• Supervise other workers.

• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster.

• Clean and prepare surfaces.

• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.

• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.

• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.

• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.

• Language: English.

Work Environment

• Work must be completed on site. There is no option to work remotely.

• Work is performed at various locations.

• Work site environment may be at heights, dusty and noisy.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
