From crispy dosas, aromatic curries, or freshly baked naan, dedicated to bringing you the genuine flavors and warm hospitality of India. We are based in Surrey, BC and take catering order too. We are looking for a Manager to join our team.

Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (32hr/week)

Salary: C$39.50/hr.

Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible

Minimum Education: Completion of Senior Secondary School is required.

Language: English

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Job Description:                                       

• Plan menus by consulting with the cooks; estimate food costs and profits; adjust menus.
• Implement operational procedures.
• Monitor food, presentation, and service.
• Provide customer service, recruit, train, and supervise staff.
• Resolve any complaints of the customers and the internal staff.
• Make a schedule and review job contributions.
• Book catering orders and help in planning menu
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Actively participate in the restaurant’s financial objectives by forecasting, developing, implementing, and analyzing budgets; scheduling expenditures, and by initiating other corrective actions.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing sanitation standards and procedures.
• Be able to supervise 10 to 15 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, must be willing to work on all shifts (Morning, Evenings & Weekends).
