Cariboo Choice Dental is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and patient-focused Dentist to join our growing team in Williams Lake, BC. The successful candidate will diagnose, prevent, and treat dental and oral health issues while delivering comprehensive care to our community.

• Wage: C$58.00 per hour
• Hours: 35–40 hours per week
• Experience: Previous clinical experience as a General Dentist of atleast 2-3 years.

Job Duties (NOC 31110)

• Examine patients teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue to diagnose disease, injury, or decay, and plan appropriate treatments.
• Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including restorative fillings, root canals, crown and bridge placements, and simple/surgical extractions.
• Clean teeth and instruct patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, flossing techniques, and preventative care regimens.
• Administer local anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics, pain relievers, or other medications as clinically required.
• Design, fit, and place dental prosthetics such as bridges, partial dentures, and full dentures.
• Supervise and coordinate dental assistants, dental hygienists, and other clinical support staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent degree recognized by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB).
• Valid license or immediate eligibility for full registration and licensure with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
• Successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) examinations.
