CARPENTER

Permanent Position: Carpenter

Company: Best Choice Form Rental Ltd.

No. of Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening, Shift.

Wage Rate:  $32 per hr for 40 hours per week.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Business Location: 286 Lone Oak Pl Langford, British Columbia V9B 0X3

Education: High School.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of work experience.

Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.

Main Duties:

• Read construction drawings and determine measurements and material requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials.
• Build and install concrete formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and related structures.
• Install floor systems, framing, and other structural components as required.
• Set up, align, brace, and secure forms before concrete placement.
• Remove and dismantle formwork after concrete has properly set.
• Repair and modify wooden structures and formwork when required.
• Coordinate work with supervisors and other construction workers and follow site safety procedures.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Weight handling capability up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
