Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Job Duties:

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing, etc.
• Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and tidying the client’s room or house, changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning floors, dusting etc.
• Providing medication reminders
• Planning and preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Escorting clients to appointments, shopping and social outings
• Helping and supervising clients with performing prescribed exercises
• Transferring and moving clients in a wheelchair or bed, utilizing a walker, cane or mechanical lift
• Turning, lifting, and positioning clients that require mobility assistance
• Assisting clients during mealtimes
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of leisure activities
• Reporting and documenting client concerns, incidents, and visit notes
• Administering first aid in emergency situations
• Providing 1:1 supervision
