Exterior Cladding Installer / Onsite Supervisor

Title of the Position: Exterior Cladding Installer / Onsite Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time, [40] hours per week

Language of Work: English

Wage: $38.75 per hour

• Incremental raises: TBD

• Performance pay or bonuses: None

• Overtime paid in accordance with Alberta Employment Standards

Benefits Package: Employer will pay 50% of the premium for extended health coverage

Location of Work: Job sites in Red Deer and surrounding areas, Alberta (outdoor work)

Job Duties

• Install aluminum composite material (ACM) panels and other high-end exterior cladding systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and project specifications

• Measure, calculate and order flashings, trims and related materials

• Organize material deliveries, storage and staging on site

• Assign tasks to crew members and schedule daily work

• Supervise onsite installation for quality, schedule and specification compliance

• Enforce workplace health and safety procedures on site

• Report progress, material needs and site issues to the project manager

• Train and mentor less experienced crew members

Skills Requirements

• Education: 

• Work experience: Minimum 5 years of experience installing exterior cladding systems, including ACM panels, with experience supervising a crew

• Other requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications

• Valid driver's licence (travel between job sites required)

• Current safety certifications: [e.g., Fall Protection, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, Aerial Work Platform]

• References from previous employers required

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, at heights and on scaffolding
